Win the fat War!

Each one of us always dream about having sexy figure, losing few extra pounds to look good, or just need to have to lose weight because of doctor’s suggestions.. U try n try but often fail!!. It is difficult to sustain your hunger for the delicacies or may be for the junk food. Each one of us is aware of the problems faced by the weight gain, but has everybody has taken seriously? And have they maintained a habit?
Well losing weight does not come from eating less or has to have diet chart or has to work out for hours and hours, it is cumulative effort of eating but eating smart, exercising just to get yourself moving and energetic.
I am following few tips which I have read in the book of “Win the Fat War” I am sharing with you and if I can do it, I am sure you too can, after all there is no foodie like me on this earth. But yes I am also a loser when it comes to losing weight, so jointly let’s work out something which is affordable and reasonable.
1. Believe in yourself

Write down the reasons why you want to slim down, it could be anything, just to fit in your favorite top, or it should not be a lethargic feeling to have a walk with your husband.. Anything.
This decision is about making yourself happy and not others happy. Real motivation comes from within.
Whatever reasons you come with, make a note and stick it where you can see, and keep on adding it as and when you think of a reason.
Once you make the decision to feel better, live healthier, or just to take good care, you will succeed. Believe in yourself! Thousands have done it, you too can!

2. Set the right goals

Goals can keep you motivated in right direction. The first rule to set gaols is to
a. Start Small – Have popcorns instead of potato chips or walk down instead f loading yourself in the cab, or auto.
As you start to feel better, you will be inspired to set loftier goals, You may give up potato chips completely, or increase you of number of hours in walkinghttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
The second rule is
b. Write them down in front of you, this turns them from abstract thinking and make them real.

3. Eat More

Switch from two or three heavy meals to five or six mini meal. This keeps your metabolism revved up and burn calories, it often keeps your energy level up and always keep you moving

4. Eat Smart
Eating more can help you realize your weight –loss goals. But you have to be smart about it. The easiest and fastest way to teach you to eat smart is to keep a food diary. Write down exactly when, what, and how much did you eat, was the fries baked or deep fried, did you have milk of low fat? And so on..
Eating smart isn’t about eating boring tasteless meals- nor not eating at all, It’s about eating only when you are hungry, making healthful food choices, and controlling your portions. It is about being aware of why are you eating..

5. Get Moving

An active lifestyleis extremely importantfor everyone, regardless of wheter you have to lose weight or not. If you are launching an exercise program remember to start small. A walk today by five mins then increase a speed day in and day out, and also find out different activities which can give you an aerobic work out, try playing badminton with kids, dance and jump at home or anything which can make you feel happy. Also try different activities everyday to avoid boredom. Today ride a bicycle, tomorrow play tennis, then swim so on and so for..

6. Build a muscle
Aerobic exercise revs up your metabolism rate and improves your levelof fitness, it’s strength training that builds a muscle, that is important, as more the muscle you have higher is the rate of burning calories.
But you cant imagine yourself do go for a gym for that, no worries try at home, just 2 to 3 days a week and continued for 6 to 8 week gives you the best results. Go ahead and Start lifting.

7. Binge – Proof your life
What sorts of things cause you to overeat, reading your food diary can help you recognize and anticipate the emotions or situations that lead to your binges, as you become more and more aware, you will tend to avoid and find other nonfood sources of comfort.

8. Talk yourself thin

If one person on a weight loss program is good, then one person with partner must be better right? Once you find your weight loss buddy, tell the person what you expect. Are you looking for moral support, a work out partner..

9. Make Motivation easy

“What the heck one chocolate can’t hurt anything”, remember your list of reasons remove it and read it . Remember what you weighed when you started ad how many pounds you have lost, count how many more minutes you can run, walk or swim. Congratulate yourself on the job that you have done so far and adjust your goal to get what you want to be.

10. Reward yourself

All of us like to be recognized for what we do well. When you reward yourself for a job well done, you reinforce your belief in yourself an tell yourself that you are proud of yourself of what you have accomplished.. so go for shopping, go for a movie do what can give you the happiness when you start achieving your goal.

Few more tips would include
- Drink lots of Water
- Eat fruits
- Finish you dinner 2hrs before you sleep
- Enjoy, Smile and Be happy all the time
List is endless though!!
And do not forget to take a printout of this or ask me to email to start your “Fat war” from today..

"IKEA" Experience

Few years back i had heard of this name of IKEA, it is a huge mall... having everything.. . many of the things were brought from IKEA as well.. was excited to explore IKEA.. kyunki IKEA ke bare mein bahut "Aikya" ( heard a lott).

I saw IKEA when i got out of the Airport so that was the first thing i saw of the city. imeediately i told myself that i hve to go here at some day... few of our friends plan evetually for IKEA.

IKEA as defined was indeed a huge set up.. and i think that is the reason they choose a place in the outskirts to built up a huge section we entered from one end n were out from the same place but the way it was deisgned was just amazing.

It was like going from one room to another.. drawing room, then following their arrows, we saw the dinning sets, then the kitchen, then bedroom, then childern, n the warehouse.. beleive me you have to go according to thier arrows only...

Every room had initial readymade available sets, if you like the whole set then go for it, or if you want to pick up a small idea or small thing you can go for that either.. every section ends with the items displaying with available colours, combinations, and varieties..

Ideas are just booming out at IKEA..

You need a salt, pepper, cumin seeds etc, if you have magnetic ruler, and bottles made up of steel lid and plastic which sticks to that rules and they are placed near to coking area, so handy to pull it sprinkle and put it back.. and something unique.. put tisues, straws and things which needs to be handy if not kept properly gives abad look so how bout having cups on the wall

Or a wooded frame, you can put cane baskets, or clth baskets and use it as a cupboard or just a dumping space but yet drawers..

Every single thing is taken care in IKEA, you are provided with pencils, rough paper,s measuring tapes, shopping list to right down the catalogue no. so that you can pick it from the warehouse.....so you can go with an empty mind and fillin with loads of ideas and creativity..

I am sure ths could be a common experince of going to some huge mall and set up things for hme.. but belive me guys IKEA can bring a difference

IKEA are the initiator in setting up these things..

Visit thier websites and or just google about the history... and pray IKEA should just near to your place..

Monsoons...

In UK monsoon are uninvited guest… they come anytime and don’t go easily…just two seasons here summers and winters and rains anytime…

Geographically it should be hot before rains but here that pattern are not followed when surfed the net this is what they had to say…
“It’s a combination of the gulf stream and the east Greenland current (see reference for map) the super cooling of the gulf stream causes condensation in the air witch result its high humidity, fog and precipitation.”

It does rain anytime but these rains are harmless, they are not heavy, it is just drizzling or just a shower u would hardly listen to lightning or thunders… U cannot enjoy the rains here as they are not alone, they carry a cool breeze which is difficult to sustain unless u carry a bottle of whisky or rum which gives the internal warmth to your body or just smoke… and moreover they are like a everyday story…

In India it is not the case.. Rainy season is a boon to all Indians as 70% of Indian occupation is agriculture. Mind is just refreshed when u smell the wet soil. Or waiting to have garam bhaji pav or wada pav and roadside tea… there are dedicated three to four months for us to use umbrellas, windcheaters or rainy shoes.. to plan for rainy trips in the natural water falls or trekking … for the muddy football matches or to hog a butta while walking in the rains.. these things are only observed in India.

Of course rains here are not messy and neither they cause any water logging problems or flooding or power cuts unlike India.. but I guess Indians enjoy these messy things at least for three four months..

Missed the raksha bandhan!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arey Chandra baghayla surya gela tar pahije…..

This was the statement when kedar my brother called up n told me today is rakhi pournima, tula pournima disat nahi ka… (Can’t u c d full moon today). A small fight followed by a sweet conversation!! After this phone call I stranded for the moment and the memories of all my childhood flashed in front of me… my brother told me few cousins were coming at home for this auspicious occasion n kedar had purposely invited all of them so that he had somebody to tie a the sacred thread. Well this sacred thread actually means nothing beyond an official day for taking a gift, as we really know that our brothers are going to be with us forever in whichever way we need them. But tying a knot reminded us that he is the person whom we can trust upon…
I remember making the naralwadi (coconut cakes), narali bhaat (sweet rice garnished with coconut) and giving kedar a surprise of the sweets and force him to say it is good and I m the best cook. Searching for the rakhee the best dark colour which will suit on fairest hands, so selecting colours like magenta, maroon, aqua, brown, earthy but the design used to be the typical the gonda and silkish thread.
Renu one of my sisters always used to come day before for the stay over. Getting up early in the morning and then convincing kedar for oil massage. This is the tradition that every sister will give him a small oil massage. Kedar used to hate this as we used to put so much oil that he would rather need an hour for his bath to remove the oil from his body.
Followed by the bath we used to have this session of “ovalna”, aarti utarna, again fighting on the smallest issue of “please kunku motha avu nakos”, meaning do not put the tika or tilak to big on his fore head. I used to obey that but renu never… The gift was always something unique and beautiful like pocket money, clothes, a bag, jewellery set etc. Though it is not the tradition of giving something back to brother but I sed to give him a return gift as many times his b’day used to be somewhere nearby so I used to make a point of giftinh him something or the rather and Renu also
Many times it had happened that I and kedar has fought so hard that we swear of not tying the rakhi and him not getting tied from me. But it never happened that way. The apologies were not shared but we used to resolve our fights without saying sorry. We often used to go out for a dinner with other cousins. So it used to be a nice brother sister day.
This year it did not happen that way, I missed everything mentioned above. I missed the rakhi festival. Well I also realize that festivals and celebrations mean a lot in somebody’s life otherwise life is too mundane and monotonous.
Nevertheless life never stops so should we never and getting depressed is neither a solution for this. So I have decided to learn enjoy the missing for somebody or something!

Being a Nomad!

Yet another relocation........

In my one and half years of marriage i have been relocating to places. We started our life with in laws at badlapur, due to some reasons we had to shift to Koperkhairane. we rented a house and started our living..setting up new house, selction of furniture, new kithcen applicances.

It starts with process of budgeting.. how much money can we spend... searching for agenets who can offer a best deal to us in our budget and also cater to our needs of good locality, less of deposit, security, commutability.

When we were searching in India we had surfed www.sulekha.com. we just registered our details n the next moment we started gettting calls from various agents. Coming from office and look for the property. I remember it was rainy season n we used to get irritated with the rains, but we managed to finalised the deal within two days. This was the first major step of our life. We had absolutely no furniture no kitchen appliances to start. So it was a start from zero, we just carried our clothes and two bedside cupboards along with us. All our furniture was designed and bought from Ulhasnagar. Ulhasnagar is cheapest source available to fulfill the basic requirement of house. We booked our sofa set, wardrobe, few extra cupboard etc. We did not go for a bed as we were sure that soon we will be moving to our own house which was under construction. So only basic and minimal requirement was taken care. We were happy that we managed it gracefully.

After few months settling things, we decided to move to Uk for a turn in our life, so again it was packing and unpacking of things. All that we had bought had to be sold out as our own house was not ready to move the furniture. So we sold out our furniture and moved to Badlapur before flying. We were back with the same things of clothes and bedside cupboards only one thing was new the set kitchen.

We started with the same story of searching an acomodation, the parameters were the same, budget, security, commutability etc. Gumtree Uk official solution website. We did surfed a lot on various sites. Luckily we got a best deal. And we shifted to UK in a new location with new people. We did not even had our jobs, so it was again a fresh start and in the new country and a new city.

In a span of one month, when we manage to settle again, Sanju got a job. Job company was awesome, work profile was challenging but the major twist was the relocation to yet another new country and new city. And now these days I am busy with the same search with same parameters.

Although it has taught me many new things, like deciding on location with google maps, how to get our exact needs, taking care of the wieght of luggage so what to buy what to avoid, how agressive and quick we should be in dealing with real estate etc. etc.

In this process of changing, relocating there is tensions, and a fear of how and where will we live, we spent money which we cannot avoid, packing things all that you have arranged it nicely and discarding things because sometimes you just can't carry, but there is an excitement for yet another new phase.

With everybody's blessings we did overcome these steps nicely and I am sure we continue as it is my strong belief that good things happen to good people. There are hurdles, problems but always for the betterment. So keep moving in life always and welcome everything that comes to your way.

And there is one more sure relocation which is going to take place of moving into our own house but god only knows when and before that how many..

I will always say.. yet another relocation.

Life is You!

-->
Life is You;
Life is beyond people
Life is beyond things
Life is nothing but “you” and only “you”
It’s you who create and bring happiness in “your” life
And its you who destroy “yourself”
Its not love, lust, not the addiction not the obsession
Which take your life?
It’s you who give up and live up to these things only…
Life is beyond all this
Crying, sobbing for a person
Spending, enjoying with friends
Splurging money
If you have money is that your life……
If you have friends is that your life…..
If you have love is that your life……
If you answer this question as ‘yes’ Remember it says
If you have
That you is important
Life is nothing but you
Let that you be someone whom the person are happy with,
Proud to be associated with
This ‘you’ should be
Fearless of failures open to change, learning from good/bad experience
Committing and accepting mistakes
Life is beautiful somebody as rightly said
But only if you make it
Or else ugly never to be looked upon
Don’t limit your life only to money
Only to success
Only to friends
Life do comprises all of these things
But
Only because of you
Life exists for you, if you exist
So
No you…….no life
Know you……know life
Life is beyond these words put forth
Search for it
It will come back to only “you”
It’s easy to fall for something
But to rise is courage
“you should be courageous to fight for
Stand up for all the goods and rights
In life
It’s no big deal if you do bad things
That is the path chosen of your life
But it will always be respected if you do one good thing
Let this be “your” way
This should not come from the feeling of
Pleasing and appreciativeness
It should come from within
You are important
It’s your life
Life is YOU and only YOU

Life is Beautiful! 😚

Life is beautiful with Sanju.. he is the love.. he accepted me as I am n decided to be with me today n forever.. This poem is a short description of blooming love between us.. let me take you through my love life...
--> --> -->

Life is beautiful
Is all d gal can say,
With a man in her life,
Worthy to praise
The meet was in the party,
The man with few words,
And the girl with little silence,
They hardly interacted,
Just exchanged their gtlk id’s
To check their compatibility for the life ahead.
Days, evenings, nights
Went on chats,
To understand each other’s
Life’s facts.
The guy fell in love with her.
Her honest, positivity and liveliness
Made him crazy,
Though for the gal it wasn;t that easy.
Things were going fine amongst them,
They used to enjoy each other’s company ,
But people around them,
In their talks taking their names.
The guy found his soul mate ever
And was waiting for the gal
To make her his, forever.
They guy had to take the decision,
As people were demanding,
The gal was scared and kept thinking
When they were ways apart,
They came closer,
The gal made her mind and thought,
That he could be her’s forever.
With parent’s and Star’s approval,
Things were set.
A confirmed yes, though a bit late.
Love, genuineness and to be a friend,
Is what both have decided to take their eternal end
The guy got his love,
His dreams and fantasies came true,
The gal got all she needed
Indeed a life New!!!!
This life is beautiful
Full of love and care,
To maintain it,
Is the responsibility of the pair
Arguments, fights
Are the part and parcel of husband and wife,
But they have promised to overcome,
Always in their life.
So a calm guy and a brat gal,
Will tie their knots soon,
With everybody’s blessings,
It will turn into a boon…
